My ninth birthday in Tulsi Gardens

This was my ninth birthday party with my friends in Tulsi Gardens. First as we began decoration, my friends from neiguborunbg houses ( Vaibhav, Rohit, Shreshta, N Aryan Anushka) came along to help and all of us had a nice time doing the decorations.
Then all my friends came and everyone played a number of games. There was the Housie game conducted by Bhaiti ( my grandmother who had come down from Kolkata for my birthday) and my father. After that there a competition to find out the Biggest Monkey in Tulsi Garden. All were fitted with paper tails and everyone had to save his tail while trying to step on others. The two finalists ( in the 4th picture) were O Aryan and N Aryan. They behaved like real little monkeys as they went about their tail business.
Finally O Aryan won the title was declared the Biggest Monkey Of Tulsi Garden. We all agreed that indeed he was and O Aryan too was very proud of his acievement.
And lastly the cake cutting and refreshments. The girl in yellow dress ( to my right) looking on as I cut the cake is Srisha, a very good friend of mine.

Life in class 3

Now I am in class 4. More than a year has passed since I have updated my blog. So let me write about class 3. In April the classes started and in May we had summer holidays. The classes resumed from June and we were given ID cards and Diaries. In class 3, Achyut and Rohan were my best friends. Rohan has a trolley bag which he brought to school every day. I had great fun pulling it.

From August onwards we had to work hard for assessments. In October during autumn break, I trekked to Kedarnath temple in the Himalayas with my parents. You can read more about  that trip in www.titostotos.blogspot.com

For  the science exhibition  at  my  school, I  made  a  model  of  Tulsi Gardens,  the  gated   community  where  I   live.  Everyone  liked  It  very   much.

In  March  I had  grand  birthday  party  at  my  house. I invited all of friends who live in/nearby Tulsi Gardens. We had a lot of fun playing games like Housie, drawing elephant’s tail in blindfolded manner , stamping on each other’s tails made of newspapers. Next year I would like to have a birthday cake which looks like a train.

Now, enjoy the photos. See you again soon.

I am father....................of the nation

Chinte parcho ki aamay?

On this 2nd October, I dressed up as Father of the nation. Ma struggled with me to transform me from Babai to Bapuji and the end result was just mind blowing as you can see. Our class was enacting Gandhiji's Dandi March and I was required to walk fast, very fast Gandhiji style across the stage with my followers shouting behind me 'bande Mataram!". I played my part to perfection and after the show everyone praised me a lot saying that I looked and acted exactly like him.
Only Blackie was somewhat puzzled at the change in my look and kept coming to sniff me to see if I smelt the same. But Ma felt that he might spoil my dress and sternly told him to keep away. So Blackie had to be content by just observing me from a distance.

I have moved- into a new house, amongst new friends

After I joined Indus School, it was time to move- into a new house in Tulsi Gardens and amongst my new friends Rehan ( in black ) and Aryan ( in blue). I have so much fun here as you can make out from the pics. Blackie too has grown into a big dog- you tell him 'Blackie on guard" and he will sit/lie down near the gate. And everyday when I return from school, he is so happy to see me and greets me with a jump and a wag of his tail.

This is my corner in the house- see my puzzles and toys?

Gudi comes to Hyd n meets Blackie

Gudi had recently come to the Hyderabad all alone after her class 10 exams. The first day when she saw Blackie- she almost fainted at the discovery that we had a dog in our house- she told everyone ( who was willing to listen) umpteen number of times that she would have never come had she known of Blackie in calcutta. And in just 12 days- see the change for yourself. From 4th day onwards, Gudi insisted in feeding Blackie and while returning to Calcutta, hold your breath.............................Gudi wanted to take Blackie with her! Isn't my little big sister really unpredictable ?But she is wonderful and I love her VERY VERY much!!!!!!!!!!!!
