Kinder Music at Euro Kids

In our school we had a Kinder music session where mummies were invited to watch their little ones sway and sing. My mum too came and shot these...................Can you see my teacher, Mangala Miss? She is holding my hand and singing with me. I love her very much.

Meeting Tyson at the Hyderabad Dog Show

Laxmi Puja ( On Kali Puja Day) and Bhaiphota 2009

Below are the pics. I am proudly displaying my plastered arm. Isn't it an achievement? Three stitches on my head ( before I turned 3) and a fractured wrist even before I am 5?
Thammi gave me bhaiphota ( as no real sister was present for the occasion) and a bus as a gift which I dismantled within an hour. Thammi fully realizes the futility of giving me gifts, but is just unable to stop herself from buying them from me.

Durga Puja 2009

At the Koteshwar temple- I am trying to dance like Shiva

Biga and Mapa Mapa at the same temple.

Me with my two mothers- Ma Durga ( who comes to visit me just once a year) and Mapa Mapa ( my 24/7 mother)
On dashami day- Mapa Mapa is feeding sweets to Ma durga and giving some in her hand to eat during the long journey to the Himalayas.

Bye Bye Ma Durga, Lakshmi Saraswati Kartick and Ganesh ( I am sitting atop a pile of chairs for a better view). Come back again next year and stay for a longer period of time.

Last day of Nursery- Three Musketeers becomes Two

Udayan ( myself) , Akash and Abhi were the three musketeers in Preeti Miss's class-always creating ruckus and upsetting everything. Either it was Abhi throwing books on Akash's head, or I wrestling with Abhi. Now , with Akash leaving the school, it will be just me and Abhi. But that is how life is , I guess- make friends, have a great time with them for a while and move on. The only constants in life are perhaps Mapa Mapa on the laptop and Biga on the TV. The pics above were taken on the day of my 4th Birthday celebrations in school, with Bhaiti and Dadai also present. You can see the 3 of us sitting and eating cake. In the pic where I am about to blow the candle, you can see Abhi (in yellow) on my left, hungrily eyeing the icings.

Aniya- my first friend in pre-school

Today, was the last day of Nursery. Next when I go back to school, Mapa Mapa said it would be a new class- LKG and new miss- not Preeti miss any more. Many of my friends who were with me these last 1.5 years too would be no longer there in the next class- they are joining different schools. I shall miss you all, Rashmi, Prateek, Akash, and Aniya- my first friend in school and probably in life. When I first joined Playgroup, it was after recovering from an acute session of tummy upset and doctor uncle had strictly instructed me to keep away from biscuits , or rather keep the biscuits away from me. So Ma used to give me so boring tiffins, whereas Aniya's snackbox was always filled with so many tasty yummy things- choclate biscuits, chesslings, and so many more. And so we became friends and stayed on even after my ban was lifted and I became eligible for better-tasting things. In between of course, we too had our share of squables and fights, but that is part and parcel of any friendship, isn't it? I will miss you a lot Aniya. Let us hope we grow up and meet again some day..............Till then, all the very best to you.
